We're looking for a senior software engineer to work with us on a long-term basis. We're a small team building products that are used by real customers, and we're looking for someone who enjoys solving difficult technical problems, shipping quickly, and taking ownership of their work. We care much more about good judgment and execution than checking boxes on a list of technologies. You should be comfortable jumping into an existing codebase, figuring things out without needing a lot of direction, and thinking through problems instead of just implementing tickets. Sometimes you'll be building entirely new features, other times you'll be improving existing systems or helping make architectural decisions. We value engineers who ask questions, challenge assumptions, and care about building things the right way. We don't expect you to know every framework or language. Strong engineering fundamentals matter much more than a specific tech stack. If you've built and shipped complex products before, you'll probably ramp up quickly. This is a remote, long-term freelance position. We're looking for someone who communicates well, is reliable, and can overlap with the team for a few hours each day. If things go well, we'd like this to become an ongoing relationship rather than a short project. When you apply, don't send a generic proposal. We'd also love to see your GitHub, portfolio, or anything else that shows how you think and build.
